Function
:
PhD,CR1 INSERM
Main achievements
:
*Cellular analysis of classI antiarythmic agents
*Molecular basis of extracellular ATP induced positive inotropism
and arrhythmia.
*Role of calcium channels in cardiac and sensory physiopathologies.
Research interests
:
Study of the role and the regulation of chloride channels
and cotransporters in the physiopathology of sensory neurons.
Development of in vitro models of adult sensory neurons primary
cultures for cellular analysis of chloride homeostasis in
control and after a peripheral nerve injury. Use of transgenic
mice to uncover the role of chloride homeostasis not only
in regeneration and neuropathic pain but also its role in
human sensory neuropathies related to gene mutations.
