Research Apprentices is a programme started by the Association l'Arbre des Connaissances, to enable junior high school and college students to discover the life of a research laboratory and to participate during 10 sessions.
For the first time this year, INM participate to this program with 10 students welcomed in 3 teams.
Marie Péquignot, researcher in the Team Vision of INM, gave a conference "Eye and Art" during the Science Week organized by the high school Louis Feuillade in Lunel.
Genopolys organized its first Scientific Summer School at the end of august 2018.
18 children from 8 to 11 followed workshops on germs and on insects during 3 days. At the end, they presented their work and shared a snack with the parents, at which it was possible to try entomophagy !
In an other workshop, 5 adolescents from 10 to 15 created an animated scientific movie on the reward circuit on a scientific paper basis. They created the story, the story board, the scenery, the characters and took all photos. They presented their work the last day.
